Yoga for Clarity? YES!
Stress, anxiety, and always ‘being on’ clutter the way we see the world and ourselves. Our bodies are stiff, out of balance, and experiencing illness as a way to scream for our attention. Losing contact with the more subtle aspects of ourselves is a modern-day milestone for most of us. Yoga is more than a self-care balm, it is a system of transformation that has been relied on for more than 5,000 years. As my teacher says, “Yoga has millions of satisfied customers”. That’s a lot of 5 star reviews :)
How does Yoga help?
Before you can focus, flow, and make clear decisions; layers of doubt must unfold and fall away. You will practice the full scope of Yoga to feel better, sleep well, reduce anxiety/stress and confidently stand steady in your unwavering truth
F.A.Q. for Clarity Circles

Both!
Individuals who feel stuck or scattered are not alone! Megan spent decades in the loop of feeling out of touch with her purpose and how to make decisions. What I know is how important it is to have patience as you courageously walk inwards towards your highest/wisest self.
Groups of any size are introduced how Yoga teaches us that we are Divinely supported. Yes! Yoga is about clearing away what is jamming up our ability to receive God’s will.

Yes. Yes. No.
You have to MOVE through what is blocking your view. Preparation is always the most crucial aspect of any project. I will lead you through an asana practice that is most appropriate for the goal and the student(s). Once the body has been befriended, we will sit together for pranayama to experience the gem of more subtle energy. I would like you to consider that each breath has a prayer catching a ride on the inhale and the exhale. Meditation is only part of a clarity session when the student is ready. I’ll be happy to explain further during our time together.

Comfy clothes for Yoga asana.
Expect a physical Yoga class followed by a period of sitting and then a longer duration of resting on your back for some restorative yoga, and guided body scans to help with the final release of tension in the body. You may want to bring a change of dry, comfortable clothes or layers to stay warm after the movement.
-
A yoga mat or rug, towel, blocks and meditation cushion are advised.
If you own these bits of gear, please bring them. Depending on the location (studio, retreat house) gear may be provided. I like to use weighted blankets and a generous amount of bolsters, eye pillows, and other soft props to support your journey inwards.
Please be sure to bring water or tea for hydration during and after this session.

Everywhere!
For individual sessions we can meet virtually on Zoom or if you are local to Southern Maryland we can meet at my Yoga Studio: SONDER.
Group workshops usually take place during Yoga Retreats or Wellness Seminars at Sonder or at off-site locations. The events page lists upcoming opportunities. Yes, I’d also be happy to travel to your destination :)

The more the merrier.
For individuals, an initial session lasts anywhere from 90 -120 minutes. Cost: $120 for intake session. Follow on sessions are 45-60 minutes and start at $75
For groups - timing varies. The minimum workshop is 2 hours for an introduction to Yoga for Clarity. I recommend a whole weekend retreat to get into the groove of truly experiencing what is possible.
